Hey, guys. I just got Cubase Elements 7, and recorded a song, but when I
try export it, it does not show the full exporting screen and doesn’t show
the option to export. Is this a bug or does anyone have suggestions?

  2. Ambrose Coombs

Very good video! I am a music producer. After a lot of research I found
what seems to be the most advanced program for music creation ever created.
please visit my channel and find the link I have posted for this program

7:07 “you still love me so much thursday with vacuum” (automatically
    detected english subtitles)

  4. I never used these programs, but not sure I understand how the vocal track
could have “spilled” over to the guitar track. Is that because the guitar
was recorded via mic and not plugged in (like an ovation or what not)? I
would more often than not prefer to multi track record but that shouldn’t
disallow me to later edit individual tracks. If that is the case then these
software programs are much further behind than I thought, and I’ll be
happier sticking with my much older hardware sequencers.

  5. Get the performer to play at the volume level they will be at when
recording, and adjust the gain knob on your interface / preamp until the
loudest peaks hit -6. In reality, even this is a bit too loud. Cheaper
preamps / converters work better when the average level is around -18dB,
not -3. At -18, you’re guaranteed not to get clipping if something
unexpectedly loud happens. It’s better to record quiet and turn up than
    record loud and turn down.

  6. I don’t blame you, the day i heard this song was the single most horrific
day in my life. Sometimes I can’t sleep at night

  7. Not sure how clearing the throat is called a “cough” but I’ll assume it’s
some kind of studio industry term. 🙂

  8. Sorry if this question means that I suck horribly, but how do I make my
waveforms look like these? Mine look very binary, and I would love to see
that sort of spectral ghostliness behind my waves. Thanks, if anybody knows
what the hell I’m talking about.

  9. Kenny Kanowski

The volume in the transport won’t do anything. It did but I must have hit
something and now it doesn’t do anything.Any help

  10. @3:40 you mention we should get our recording levels between -3 and -6 but
didn’t elaborate? How do we do this? Thanks

  11. Where is the menu accessed at 4:30? I think the screen recorder clipped
away the mouse location. Tried right-clicking the play controls etc but
found no metronome option. Using Windows. [~~ ehh, nevermind, found it in
    Transport ..

  12. Honestly, ”Up down here and there my love’s gonna get you, dont hide my
friend. after the storm comes a double rainbow?!?” The demo song has to be
the worst thing I have ever heard in all my life. C’mon Steinberg.. inspire
us with your demos, don’t insult us!
